Quick-gun Murgun……
It was a whole day outing with my friend. We planned for a movie, then some look around the city and then a dinner of which I was suppose to pay for the desert. Anyways, coming to the point, I was asked to choose the movie and going by the schedule list, there was not much option we had.
• Kaminey (already watched)
• Fox (I don’t remember when Sunny gave a good movie last)
• Aghe se right (After Paying Guest, forget it!)
• Couple of Marathi movies ( my friend don’t understands the language)
• Wake up Sid (Yeah! got it. But it was not released yet)
That meant only Quick-gun was remaining. But no, no. Not this one please, my friend shouted. I checked on the director, (considering the fact the actors were nowhere to my known list) the same who directed Waise bhi hota hain Part II. I had liked that movie and thought it would be too a different experience. No doubt, we were in.
Truly speaking we were just eight people in the hall, that also there were two couples who were definitely not there to watch the movie. The whole hall was ours, just for four of us. We sat at the last rows though we had front row seats, the guard never had problems. The movie had already started but actually we didn’t realize it at all until Lola Kutti came dancing. We thought it may be some promotional add of some new restaurant chain and really the movie was literally all about that only. No story, no stars, no music, no sense, nothing! The worst movie of this year. Chandni Chowk to China was better. The only good thing about this movie was that it ended very soon. Oh my God! Another few minutes in, my friend might have chewed the whole seat.
I don’t understand what this Hollywood production thinks about Indian Cinema. Please, we, Indian audience are far par matured than what you think. I mean first Sawariya, Chandni Chowk to China and now this crap and hell movie. I still raise an eye brow why it was given a good rating in the reviews section in papers. Yeah! Of course Times of India was backing it but still I have a piece of advice for them, before associating with a movie please check on the script. The Firangi are not always right. And being a responsible media please don’t mislead your readers. Seriously, the movie didn’t even deserve a single star. Not even I could say a time pass one; please don’t go for this torture even you have downloaded it or your friend is paying for it.
And lastly, I really doubt how My name is Khan would be after this one. Yeah! Quick-gun had flushed out the Slumdog fame out of my mind.
